Brighton acquisition of the second location in 1999 presented a unique business challenges to Brighton. They bought an existing car wash business and planned a simple upgrade to improve the operation. Unfortunately, a small lot and changes to city codes requiring additional parking and driveway space changed the plans - where others would have looked at this as a problem - Brighton saw an opportunity. |

| Brighton developed an innovative double car wash system specifically designed for the location. Each car is washed, rinsed and dried twice making the car twice as clean, twice as fast. |

For the initial
wash and rinse the water is heated to wash
away heavy dirt, grease and road grime. The second wash
uses hot cleaning solutions and clean
cold fresh water to clean all surfaces and wheels
a second time. Two sets of
high-pressure hot air dryers are used to remove
the water, followed up by touch up drying done
by hand to prevent any local spotting. Only clean, damp,
no scratch terry cloth towels are used. This is all
competed in about 3 minutes time. |

uses only soft water which helps prevent spotting and enables the cleaning
solutions to do a complete job. He only uses fresh water in each step
of the double wash and rinse Other car washes recycle the the water so
your car is washed with filtered dirty wash water. Express uses computer-controlled
sensors to customize his wash to your vehicle size and shape. This is
the only car wash of its kind in the area. Brighton has had visits from
car wash owners from around the country and even a couple for overseas
to see first hand the Brighton Express Wash in action. |
